About Us

My Holiday Home Manager, hosted by Lakeshores Accommodation, is Lake Macquarie’s most trusted name in holiday home management. Founded in 1996 by the Hellier family, we’ve grown through referrals—not advertising.

Our story began with just two family-owned holiday homes in Belmont. Initially, we managed them for personal use and the occasional family friends. But word spread quickly about our attention to detail, hands-on service, and honest approach. Before long, friends and neighbours were asking us to manage their properties too.
What started as a small side project has evolved into a full-service property management agency trusted by owners across Lake Macquarie. But our core values haven’t changed: we’re still local, still family-run, and still focused on doing what’s right by our owners. May owners are still with us to this day!
We’re not a corporate agency chasing volume. We take a boutique approach — managing fewer homes so we can provide exceptional service to every owner and guest.
As licensed real estate agents and experienced managers, we handle everything from trust accounting and guest screening to housekeeping and compliance. Our flexible plans let you stay involved or step back completely.

Our Story

Founded in 1996 by Mark Hellier, Lakeshores Accommodation was built on firsthand experience with the challenges of owning and managing holiday properties. My Holiday Home Manager is part of the Lakeshores Group and focuses on top tier property management services.
What began with a few family-owned homes has grown into a trusted local business dedicated to helping others make the most of their holiday home and/or investments.
